Baking has been a passion of mine since I can remember. One of my earliest memories is of me sitting on my Granny’s worktop licking the bowl clean! Between my Mum and Granny, who were always baking, it’s no surprise that I took an interest from an early age. When I was approached by a friend to make their wedding cake I was initially horrified at the thought of making a disaster of it, but it actually went really well! After that I seemed to be the friend that everyone turned to for their celebration cakes – that’s how my confidence grew to start Hayleigh’s Cakery!
